Stolpman Vineyards Red "La Cuadrilla" 2018
The folks at Stolpman, in an attempt to give back to their employees
who toil in the vines so intensely, produce a wine each year that the
workers themselves benefit directly. A parcel of vines is dedicated to
them and they control all viticultural and wine making practices.
Stolpman's winemaker, Sashi Moorman, even blends 10% of the estates wine
into it ensuring that La Cuadrilla always makes up at least 10% of the
total production of the winery. This blend of Syrah, Grenache, Petit
Sirah and Sangiovese is flat out gorgeous! Fresh blackberry notes with
hints of quince, jam, coffee and herbs all resolve with great verve and
length. Enjoy now through 2023.
