Agiorgitiko (St. George in Greek) is a widely planted native grape that produces juicy, ample red wines. This on the fresher side of things with flavors fresh dark fruits, plum and spices. Smooth tanninsand balanced acidty makes this is a red for all seasons. It beutufully pairs with all manner of bold and grilled flavors. This wine is a part of the Denthis project of wine importer Eklektikon, which celebartes wines grown and made by small, sustainable family wineries. The Stamnaki (“wine jug” in Greek, line is an ode to indigenous Greek varieties, through simple and honest vinifications.
