Adega Sainas Ribera Sacra "Secular" 2021
Hailing from a single vineyard parcel called "Granxa Vella" (Vella means old), these 60-year-old vines drive the core of this wine. 85% Mencia with 15% Garnacha Tintorera, it shows dramatic and heady aromas of raspberry coulis, lit incense, lavender and spice. On the palate, all those aromas have more depth and a touch of cherry and blood orange. Super long and drinking perfectly now, this still has plenty of age-worthy capabilities for now through 2031.
