Poggiosecco Chianti 2021
With certified organic (since 2004) and biodynamic (since 2009) vines,
this small winery located in the Montalbano Hills is truly a magical
place. No chemicals whatsoever and an emphasis on freshness, this 90%
Sangiovese with 10% Malvasia Nera is a wine that punches well above it's
pay grade. Solid core of dusty cherry notes with a bit of fresh bouquet
garni and a touch of white pepper whirl about in the glass. Bring on
the pasta, chicken, braised meats or pizza!
