Montenidoli Toscana Rosso IGT 2020
Although this large estate is 200 hectares in size, there are only 24 of those that are planted to grapes. Elisabetta Fagiuoli is a legend, and rightfully so. A vivacious spirit runs through her and is directly represented in her wines. They truly are alive. This 100% Sangiovese comes from clay/calcareous soils and is vinified in glass-lined concrete tanks and then aged in large neutral casks. The wine is overflowing with dark berries, spice cake, cinnamon, and Provencal herbs. From an outstanding vintage and outstanding producer, enjoy now through 2030.
