Henriet Bazin Bland de Noirs 'Cuvee Meunier' NV
100% pinot meunier from a single parcel called “La Sente au Beurre” in soils of marl over limestone, facing southwest. Base wine is from 2017 and is aged for nine months in enamel lined tanks. Aged in bottle sur lattes for a minimum of 3 years. From a single parcel of Pinot Meunier this wine is crisp and textured. It has a ripe juicy apple character cut with acidity and minerality. At the same time the natural softness of the grape variety comes through to round out the wine leaving a gentle finish.
