Domaine Gérard Seguin Fixin La Place 2023
Fixin is a tiny appellation far north in the Cote de Nuits, sandwiched between Brochon and Couchey. It's minuscule and very close to Gevrey-Chambertin. Gerard Seguin makes wonderful Gevrey and Chambolle, but it was this little Fixin that stole the show for us with its value! Lovely fragrant lilac notes with hints of strawberry, thyme, cherry, earth, and light spice, this is a fine-tuned Pinot Noir that has everything you could hope for in a Burgundy.
