Domaine Richaud Cotes du Rhone "Terres d'Aigles" 2023
Made from a blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 10% Syrah, and 5% Counoise, at an average vine age of 70 years old, these historic parcels are planted in sandy, clay-centric soils near the Aygues River and were among the first parcels vinified by Marcel Richaud in the 1970s. With a short cuvaison and 8 months of aging in concrete, this fruity and spicy wine is thirst-quenching and nervy. Black cherry, plum, four-fruits preserves, zhatar, and leather notes show a super presence. Enjoy now and anytime over the next four years. Yum!
