Caprili Brunello di Montalcino 2018
With an estate that dates back to the 1970's, the folks at Caprili have
been doing it to death for quite a while. Never ones for "pumped up" or
oaky wines, their preference is terroir transmission by not
over-extracting. Which is why this wine is so successful. Waves of red
fruits, leather, cinnamon, cumin and burning incense whip back-n-forth
in the glass leaving one with the impression of not only depth but
clarity and focus. Long finishing and supple in structure, enjoy this
now but make sure you stock some in the cellar for the next 10 years.
