From Tenerife's volcanic Valle de GüÃmar, Los Pelados Blanco is a striking high-altitude Listán Blanco from Bodega Hermanos Mesa. Sourced from old vines (up to 80 years) at extreme elevations (~1,300m), it's aged nine months in used French oak (2/3) and stainless steel (1/3), preserving tension while adding complexity.
Aromas of lemon zest, wild herbs, crushed rock, and delicate floral notes. Precise and taut on the palate with citrus and saline minerality, subtle oak adds roundness without losing freshness. Long, stony finish. Light-bodied yet persistent, it expresses its volcanic terroir and altitude. Ideal with grilled shellfish, citrusy tapas, fresh goat cheese, or as an aperitif.
