Twelve months in older oak barrels and younger vine age than the Brunello are all that separate this delectible wine from the Big Boy wine. Still 100% Sangiovese Grosso, with bright Bing cherry notes to go with the savory porcini, leaf tobacco, and easy tannins. Drinking to perfection now, but this will improve over the next 5 years. An astounding value for sure!
