Yohan Lardy Beaujolais Blanc Les Bruyeres 2018
All stainless steel in its raising, this is stony, mineral and
compelling Chardonnay with a great presence. From vines near the cru of
Fluerie on a combination of clay, limestone and silt soils give this
wine great energy at a superb price. Bright apple and pear notes with a
hint of citrus zest and nice texture, this is a versatile and delicious
white for just about any application.

Cantine Garrone Munaloss Rosso 2016
The Munaloss is classic example of a vino di montagna (mountain wine),
full of history and identity; an Alto Piemonte Rosso with lithe
character; but so refined. This fantastic rosso is 50% Nebbiolo, 30%
Croatina and 20% Barbera sourced from the Garrone vineyards ranging from
400 to 600 meters in elevation. Grapes are fermented in steel for seven
days on the skins then aged for one year in stainless steel before
bottling. Garrone Monaloss at 12.5% alcohol is fresh and young with a
brilliant ruby red color, hints of black cherry, spice and a zesty
acidity. |

Rasa Vineyard Occam's Razor 2017
A red blend from great vineyard sources in the heart of the Columbia
Valley, Billo Naravane has struck a chord with this brilliant blend of
Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon (with drips of Sangiovese, Malbec and
Merlot) with a nod towards the bold. Deep black and red fruits with
hints of violets, cassis and plum, this wine has good richness and a
supple mouthfeel. While Occam's Razor is a reference to William Ockham,
the 14th century philosopher, this wine provokes thought despite its
"everydayness" that makes you want to drink it again and again... |
