I tasted this lovely Brandy during our last trip to France, in 2018, and fell hard for it. Since then, I have been trying to convince the distributor to bring it in. Now this gem has finally arrived, but in small quantities. Here is your chance to get some of this unique and very limited spirit.
This smooth Calvados offers a unique complexity of flavors due to its age. Lelouvier Hors d’Age only uses 12 year olds barrels to make this delicious brandy. Pure apple seeds and a gentle hint of leather practically jump from the glass. Once in your mouth, peach marmalade, pears and a hint of flowers are the dominant flavors, with a deep, round, and long finish. Lelouvier Hors d’Age is the perfect after dinner drink, and the best on cold winter nights.
