This is 100% Samso (local name for Carinena or Carignan) that show that this grape is captivating all on its own. The vines here are 90 years old lending concentration and the wine has that great attribute of simultanteous fruit plushness and sneaky structure. Floral on the nose with black fruits, lilac and incense, the palate renders great presence and acidity along with blackberry, anise and cassis.
