Just landed and absolutely delicious, the new Langhe Rosso from Luigi Giordano is now in-stock.  Can't think of a better Italian Cellar Defender than this little gem from the great Barbaresco producer.  What pray tell makes this wine so damn special?  Ah, my friends, it's the addition of a little Arneis (about 10%) to the gorgeous Nebbiolo fruit.   It gives the wine great aromatic "lift" and allows more drinkability and suppleness to come thru.  This floral red-fruited wine has tones of chrysanthemum, raspberry and baking spices.  Perfection with pastas of all sorts, red meats, pork and poultry, this is as versatile a red as you'll find.  Enjoy now through 2022.
