It's damn near hard to ignore the value...and now the world class nature of these wines are making their mark on the wine world. Having recently tasted this stunning wine (emphasis on "stunned" as that is what flashed thru my brain) from Luis Pato. The Bairrada Tinto Vinhas Velhas 2013 is a supple and sleek wine with a depth and complexity I've never experienced from a Portuguese dry red. This is a wine that deserves its rightful place among the greatness...
