Sainas Ribeira Sacra "Silente" 2021
Jorge and Saleta Fernandez own this certified organic estate but the man behind the wine is none other than Portugal legend, Luis Seabra. 95% Mencia with 5% Garnacha Tintorera is culled from 4 hectares of vines planted on sandy loam and granite soils. 85% stainless steel with just 15% French oak aging is key to maintaining the lively fruit and letting it flourish. This wine has a vibrancy rarely seen with its pomegranate, cherry, graphite, and provincial herbs and spice notes. Medium bodied and ready for nearly all applications, enjoy now through 2029.
