2010 Domaine Chatelus de la Roche Beaujolais
From south facing vines planted on granite soils, this magnificent red just very well may be the Cellar Defender extraordinaire of the summer! Hard to fathom a more organic expression of the excellent climatic conditions of the vintage, this wine drinks better than most cru Beaujolais ever will. Perfect with a slight chill during these hot months, the lively fragrant bits of strawberry, dark fruits and black cherry even show a touch of coffee in the finish. So fresh, so clean and so lovely, enjoy this summery red now while the sun is high and the livin' is easy.
