Colpetrone Sagrantino di Montefalco 2007
A darkly packed and broad shouldered red from Umbria, Lorenzo Landi uses southeast facing vines grown on pure clay to create this bold wine. Easily soaking up its 18 months in new French oak, it shows decadent black fruit, loads of baking spices and hints of clay.
